Zephyr gave Scarlet a quick smile as she watched Scarlet fly away to the cafeteria first. She opened her locker, took out her stationeries & shut the locker with a slam. Zephyr always wondered how she could be Scarlet's friend: Scarlet was active, cheerful & loud while she was quiet, shy & smart.

Scarlet waited happily for Zephyr arrive. She hum cheerfully as she stand on the entrance of the cafeteria. A few minutes later, Zephyr still hasn't arrived. She took a look where Zephyr and her sat earlier, and noticed she wasn't there. Scarlet thought she went to her locker to get something. She continued waiting for her cheerfully while humming.

(Sorry. I'll have to measure the lines next time.)

Zephyr coughed as the air temperature began to get hotter. The locker rooms seemed like they were an oven, baking a pie that was taken out from the freezer. Zephyr's cough began to worsen as she tried to lower the temperature with her wind power, but the humidity went up. Zephyr was breathing laboriously as she tried her best to fly out of the locker room but even her wings seem to fry into potato chips.

"Scarlet! Help!" she said telepathically.

It became very noisy at the cafeteria. Some pixies are fighting over a meal, just because they didn't want to wait for another one to be cooked. Scarlet didn't seem to mind this. She was still waiting for Zephyr to arrive. She doesn't know Zephyr was asking for her help. She thought helping someone you're racing with is cheating. She continued humming while waiting for Zephyr.

Zephyr coughed again. The hot air was getting hotter by the second & Zephyr had no idea how much longer she could continue staying under the boiling temperature. She sensed that Scarlet didn't hear her message at all. She dropped all her stuff & coughed violently.

"S-Scarlet! SCARLET! H-Help! I'm in the locker room! The temperature is *cough* getting hotter! *cough*" Zephyr shouted with all her strength before collapsing on the tile floor, coughing & choking.

Scarlet suddenly felt the cafeteria go super cold, as if a freezer. She had a feeling that Zephyr was in trouble, so she pushed open the cafe door & flew as fast as she could when she suddenly heard somebody call her name.

"S-Scarlet! SCARLET! H-Help! I'm in the locker room! The temperature is *cough* getting hotter! *cough*"

Scarlet flew towards the locker room only to find it as hot as a boiler. She gathered up some energy to make a protective bubble & flew in to find Zephyr in a crumpled heap.

"Zephyr? Zephyr! Wake up!" Scarlet said as she pulled Zephyr into the bubble, along with her stuff.

Scarlet flew with Zephyr to the nurse's office. She explained very well what happend to Zephyr. "I was in the cafeteria when the "crime" happened. Thought I think I have the thought of it. When I went to the locker room, it is pretty hot . . . supernova hot. The heat must have melt a bit of her wings!", she said. She was very paranoid.

The words echoed through her head. The room was cold, in fact, cold enough to be in room temperature! "Wake up, Zephyr!" a whispery voice called out to her.

Zephyr stirred a little. She squeezed her eyes tightly. She moved & cracked her fingers. She moved a bit & opened her eyes slowly, coughing.

"Scarlet?" She asked.

Scarlet heard someone calling out to her. She noticed the voice is familiar and the voice is Zephyr's! She took a look at her. She was awake! She move closer to her. She then asked, "what's the reason you fall unconscious?"

Zephyr went pale. She clutched the sheets tightly & sweat formed. "The locker room! I went to get my stuff when the locker room started to boil! It was as hot as......a volcano! My wings! Have they melted?" Zephyr asked in a panicked voice.

Scarlet is very paranoid. She doesn't know what to do. She then quickly thought of something. "Nurse, please take good care of her. I am going to tell the principal that the locker room is as hot as a volcano!", she commanded. She then rushed to the principal's office.

Zephyr wiped away the sweat on her head as she watched Scarlet rush off to the Principal's office. The nurse brought over a bottle, a bottle of what looked seaweed smashed & mushed together. It looked quite green, very disgusting.

"Open up!" Nurse ordered, pouring the disgusting green liquid into a cup. In fact, it even smelled of seaweed! Yuck! Zephyr sighed.

Scarlet rushed to the principal's office. She is flying as fast as she could. Though it is not fast enough, for her. "Out of my way!", she said to a guy in front of her.

Zephyr sniffed at the cup that was placed in front of her. It smelt awful, like a mix of seaweed, algae & poison ivy all together. Zephyr pursed her lips, hesitating. She wasn't sure if she actually wanted to drink it or not.

"Well?" The nurse demanded.

Pursing her lips again, Zephyr took a sip of it & gagged. It taste as horrible as it looked. Zephyr took a deep breath, pinched her nose & gulped the contents down, covering her mouth as she gagged & spluttered the abominable drink. She swallowed & asked for water.

Scarlet arrived in front of the principal's office. She knocked three times first before entering the office. Unfortunately, the principal was talking to an important person. Scarlet interrupted their talk, and started talking about the incident. "Mrs. Powers! I was in the cafeteria when Zephyr suddenly collapsed! It's because of the locker room, it is to-", Scarlet's words were cut by a nasty scream. She was scolded for interrupting their talk, and was sent to the detention room for 2 hours.

Zephyr had her mouth covered as she staggered out of the nurse's office, her leg like jelly. She doubt that she would ever want to try grilled seaweed burgers that was said to be tested by Nurse.

"Hey, Zephyr! I hear that Scarlet the 'Hyperactive' Gymnastics Princess is in detention!" A young spiteful fairy named Star mocked. Zephyr was simply to weak to punch her, so she sent a storm cloud over & zapped Star.

Scarlet's mind was full of worries. She cannot tell the principal about the incident, a thing she promised to do. She hated breaking promises; she has a record, for 2 years she didn't break any promise. She was also bored, as you're not allowed to do anything when you're in detention.

Zephyr decided to try out & see if her wins were melted. Her flats tapped against the tiled floor along the hallway as she ran to the fields, where the grass was thick & green. Zephyr looked t her bak as she fluttered them.

She began to lift off, & much to her delight, they hasn't melted in the scorching heat.

After an hour, Scarlet stated that she gonna do something. The principal was gone in a minute, so she is free to do so. I'm very quiet and careful so I bet no one will notice me! She then picked up the chalk and started drawing.

Zephyr walked to the detention hall & saw Scarlet drawing there. Since the Principal wasn't there, Zephyr took some fairy dust & fling it over herself to make herself invisible. With that, Zephyr opened the door & walked in.

Scarlet was shocked. She felt and heard the door opening, and thought the principal came back. She closed her eyes and explained everything.

"I'm so sorry Ms. Powers! I couldn't control myself, I was so bored that I decided to draw! Even if I'm bad at drawing..."

Scarlet then stopped talking. She noticed the principal wasn't talking, and just showing an I-hate-students-who-break-rules look. She gently opened her eyes and so no one was there. She opened her mouth, then screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Hmm... Guess "Scarlet the Hyperactive Princess of Gymnastics" is having a good time in the detention room!", Star teased.

Zephyr was so mad at Star, she stomped past Scarlet noisily, spat at the portrait of the Principal in Star's hands & slapped Star across the face, really really hard. She watched as Star howled her lungs out while the portrait of the Principal & began to look mushy due to a chemical reaction between water & paint.

Hours later, school was over. Scarlet sighed. It was such an extra-ordinary and weird day for her! Her school never been so crazy, until this day.

Zephyr and her are flying home together. "Hmm... This is such a crazy day, isn't it Zephyr!", she started the conversation. "So... How's the princess doing? I miss her! Due to her flu, she missed school for days!", Scarlet said. She really do miss her, for the princess is one her best friends.

Zephyr nodded. Princess Yona is the third Princess of Pixie Hollow & has red hair, purple eyes, pale skin & takes simply forever to get dressed, since she has 15 wardrobes filled to the brim with expensive & tailor-made clothes that were all fine cut.

"She's okay, just sobbing about the amount of homework," Zephyr laughed.

Scarlet sighed of relief. "Whew! Good thing she's safe!", she exclaimed. Her home is near, so she excused herself from Zephyr and went home. "Bye!!! Call me if you have some important news! Say hi for Princess Yona and Jacob for me!", she said happily as she wave her hand.
